RaffleSoft : O.R.S. is hosted on RaffleSoft's Linux powered servers.

What user software (i.e. web browsers) does RaffleSoft : O.R.S. work with? ( ? )

We strive to make sure that RaffleSoft : O.R.S. is compatible with every modern browser available. We test our software on both Mac and Windows using the most popular browsers available to each platform.

Does RaffleSoft : O.R.S. include a method of handling offline ticket sales? ( ? )

Yes, the "Pro" version of our software allows your group to sell online as well as incorporate tickets you sell offline into the system quickly and easily.

Is it legal for my organization to hold an online raffle fundraiser? ( ? )

This varies by state. We do our best to keep our availability database up to date and you may check if your state allows non-profit fundraising raffles by clicking here. Once you have determined that your state allows fundraising raffles we can work with you to get everything set up.

What Payment processors does RaffleSoft : O.R.S. accept? ( ? )

There are currently two payment processors. Both Authorize.net AIM, a full featured merchant account solution, as well as First Data (formerly LinkPoint),
***PayPal has recently changed their terms and no longer allows raffle ticket purchases to be processed through a PayPal account.

How do I get started? ( ? )

Three simple steps will get your groups started

1- Verify you are a 503 (c) Non-Profit organization
2- Check that you are allowed to legally hold raffles in your state as a non-profit organization.
3 - Choose a software solution and go through the setup and account creation process from there.

Can I get free updates? ( ? )

Minor updates to the online raffle system are made freely available and installed by RaffleSoft for as long as your organization is a current client of RaffleSoft.
***Version updates may require an upgrade fee.

Can I use RaffleSoft : O.R.S.™ on several websites? ( ? )

You may only use one copy of RaffleSoft : O.R.S. per license. Additional licenses must be purchased if you wish to hold online raffles at more than one website.

Can I use the RaffleSoft : O.R.S. for commercial projects? ( ? )

RaffleSoft : O.R.S. is only available to Organizations registered as Section 501(c) NonProfit companies. Additionally we only offer our software for license in states that allow fundraising raffles.
If you require a version of the software for use in other purposes we can make available a "sweepstakes" version of the software that allows you to give away free raffle tickets online.

How long does it take before my groups raffle can be up and running? ( ? )

Due to how the internet DNS servers operate a new website is not "seen" across the internet for up to 48 hours after the domain name is purchased.
Once the DNS servers have propagated the RaffleSoft system can be up and running in as little as 48 additional hours. Remember, once online, your fundraiser is there for you 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

We developed our software because we have a deep understanding about the importance of non-profit organizations to local communities. With that understanding of importance also comes and understanding of the importance of that community to help raise the funds needed to continue the service you provide.
